To fill in before publishing: legal company name, registration number, address and contact email.
Safebook is a mobile app for managing occupational safety on construction sites. This page explains what we process, why, and what you can ask us to do.
Who we are
The controller is [Company name], registration number [number], [address], Georgia. Questions: [email].
What we process
- Account: first and last name, email, phone, password hash, interface language.
- Access: the organisation, role and objects you are allowed to work with.
- Records you create: risk assessments, instruction sessions with signatures, inspections and findings, incident investigations, equipment and protective equipment, permits to work.
- Evidence: photos, the time they were taken and, if you allow it, their location.
- Device: device identifier, platform and push token for notifications.
- Technical logs: request time, IP address and errors, for security and fixing faults.
Workers' data
Your organisation stores worker records in the app: names, personal numbers, positions, instruction signatures, medical certificate details, accreditations. For those records your organisation is the controller and we process them on its instructions. If you are a worker and want to see or correct your data, ask your employer.
Why we process it
- Contract: to make the app work — your account, synchronisation and records.
- Legal obligation: occupational safety law requires instruction journals, incident files and inspection records to be kept.
- Legitimate interest: keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, fixing faults.
Who we share it with
We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising. We rely on these providers: server hosting, Expo's push notification service, and an email and SMS provider. Each processes only what the service needs.
How long we keep it
Safety records are kept for as long as the law requires — incident files and instruction journals typically for years. Account data is kept while the account exists.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app: Organisation → Delete my account. That removes your sign-in, your profile name, access from every device, notifications, and access to organisations and objects. Safety records and signatures already made stay, because the law requires them to be kept, but your name no longer appears on them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and object to processing. Write to [email]. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and tokens are kept in the device's secure storage. Server access is restricted.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date on this page, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
